MN Carry Permit Class
$89 per Person
Our Minnesota Carry Permit Class introduces basic safety and proper shooting of a handgun. We include a live-fire to prove safe and responsible handling. This is held at a private indoor facility near the store, and is completed during class. There is no range fee.
We then explore how to be aware of your surroundings and create a personal safety plan. We also explain the effects of a deadly encounter, and the reality of a defensive shoot. After we cover how to handle the criminal justice system.
The Minnesota Carry Permit Class finishes discussing the legal rights and responsibilities of owning, carrying, threatening and using deadly force.

Must be at least 20 years old.
There are no prerequisites to this class. You do not need prior firearms safety training. We strongly recommend new shooters take an Essential Pistol Craft class before or with your Minnesota Carry Permit Class.
Passing the Minnesota Carry Permit Class does NOT constitute a valid MN Carry Permit. To apply for the permit, you must take the class. Then deliver the application in person to your local sheriff’s department. You can apply anytime within one year of taking the class.
