Easily obtain or renew a MN Permit to Carry in this comfortable, low-pressure class. Explore basic handgun safety and shooting fundamentals, with a live-fire portion included. Then move on to the realities of a deadly encounter. Finally, learn the legal rights and responsibilities of firearm ownership, carry and use.

This class is great for all levels of experience, from brand-new shooters to long-time renewals. When you complete the Carry Permit Class, you get a certificate of training. This class is accepted by the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, as well as applying for Wisconsin and Florida conceal and carry permits.

• Then submit your application for MN Permit to Carry a Pistol within 1 year of taking the course
  • Download a MN Permit to Carry a Pistol application HERE.
  • Apply to obtain or renew carry permit at your local sheriff’s department (maximum fee $100)
• PASSING THE CLASS DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU ARE LICENSED TO CARRY IN MN—YOU MUST STILL APPLY WITH THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT AND OBTAIN AN ACTUAL PERMIT
