Easily obtain or renew carry permit in this comfortable, low-pressure class. Explore basic handgun safety and shooting fundamentals, with a live-fire portion included. Then move on to the realities of a deadly encounter. Finally, learn the legal rights and responsibilities of firearm ownership, carry and use.

This class is great for all levels of experience, from brand-new shooters to long-time renewals. When you complete the Carry Permit Class, you get a certificate of training. This class is accepted by the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, as well as Wisconsin and Florida conceal and carry permits.

You do not need to bring a firearm to this class! We supply everything at no extra cost. You are welcome to bring your own gun if you want. You are also welcome to bring your own food to class if you like.

To Obtain or Renew Carry Permit:

• Complete the class above!
• Then submit your application for MN Permit to Carry a Pistol within 1 year of taking the course
  • Download a MN Permit to Carry a Pistol application HERE.
  • Apply to obtain or renew carry permit at your local sheriff’s department (maximum fee $100)
• PASSING THE CLASS DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU ARE LICENSED TO CARRY IN MN—YOU MUST APPLY WITH THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT AND OBTAIN AN ACTUAL PERMIT
