MN Carry Class – Get/Renew Permit in this Easy, Comfortable Class
The MN Carry Class lets you easily get or renew a Permit to Carry a Pistol in this comfortable, low-pressure course. Explore basic handgun safety and shooting fundamentals, including a live-fire session. Then move on to the realities of a deadly encounter and examine the legal rights and responsibilities of firearm ownership and use.
Suitable for all levels, from brand-new shooters to long-time renewals. On successful completion of the MN Carry Class, you will received certification of training. This class is accepted by the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Our training is also accepted for Wisconsin and/or Florida conceal and carry permits.

After the MN Carry Class:
- Submit your application for MN Carry Permit within 1 year of taking the course
- Download a MN Permit to Carry a Pistol application HERE.
- Apply for your MN Carry Permit at your local sheriff’s department (maximum fee $100)
- PASSING THE CLASS DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN YOU ARE LICENSED TO CARRY IN MN—YOU MUST APPLY WITH THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT AND OBTAIN AN ACTUAL PERMIT
